Stoke Football Shirts
Stoke City Football Club was founded in 1863 and is the oldest club in the Premier league and the second oldest club after Notts county. Most recently, Stoke City’s fans are seen as loud, passionate, friendly and modern, although they have not been without hooligan incidents, primarily through the 1990’s. The Britannia Stadium is home for Stoke City Football Club and oddly enough, their anthem seems to be “Delilah” by Tom Jones. There is always a party atmosphere at the games.
Stoke City Football Club has two mascots; The Pottermus and the Pottermiss. (They are actually Hippos and there is a male and female version). Pottermus actually has a motorcycle license and has been known to ride his motorcycle at the matches. He also one time removed the head of a mascot bear.
Stoke City is noted for forming an American club partnership. The Austin Aztex will be joining the United Soccer Leagues in 2009 and Stoke City announced a team partnership. They hope to reveal some unknown American talents and are looking for an American fan base by sending players and selling Stoke City Merchandise at the Austin Aztex games.
