Hull City Football Shirts
Hull City made it to 3rd in 1909-1910 but then did not repeat that challenge until 2007-2008 when they rated 3rd/championship. There was a downward spiral at the end of the 20th Century but things have been looking up since 2000.
Hull City's colours inspired their nickname. The colors of black and amber soon became fashioned into the crest as well as the nickname for the club. Hull City's biggest rival according to polls of the fans is Leeds United although Leeds does not hold the Hull City in the same light. They are also rivals with Scunthorpe United and Grimsby Town. Sheffield United also has been one of Hull City's rivals.
Hull City have recently relocated to the newly constructed KC Stadium and has been receiving record number of attendances. Hull City is in the Premier League and the highest attendance for Hull City on record is 55,019 in 1949 in a match against Manchester United. That game was played at Boothferry Park. At their new stadium, the highest attendance so far has been 24,924 on January 2009 against Arsenal.
