Blackburn Rovers Football Shirts

Blackburn Rovers play in blue and white for home games and red and white at away games. Like most of the other football clubs, Blackburn Rovers have had their ups and downs. In the 90’s, the club made the headlines for the startling amount of money they paid for Alan Shearer. In fact, there were several notable pricey gains to the club that year.
Since the year 2000, with the help of some excellent sign ups Blackburn Rovers came back into the spotlight. A brand new set of circumstances led to a near takeover of the club by Chris Ronnie. Linked in the national news several times, the Rovers and Ronnie held several meetings to discuss it. However, Ronnie unexpectedly pulled out of the talks.
2008 saw 3 managers to the team; Hughes, Ince and Allardyce. Hughes had been on since 2004. It is therefore uncertain what the future of the club holds. The fans as well as the directors and owners hope for championship seasons much as they had in the beginning of the 2000’s.
Team colours are blue and white and for away games; red and black. There have been subtle changes to the kit over the years but the colours remain traditional.
